How much does fireplace service cost? BeeWarm’s individual estimate is $140 per fireplace before tax, with qualifying strata group rates from $85. Explore the private booking beta.
BeeWarm is all fired up about a simpler way to organize strata fireplace servicing. The new booking app brings building details, resident participation, access arrangements and Rob’s scheduling queue into one private beta workspace. It is being built around the people who need to make a service day work: strata councils, property managers, individual owners and Robert Hamilton at BeeWarm.
How much does a fireplace service cost?
BeeWarm’s standard individual fireplace service estimate is $140 CAD per fireplace before tax. Coordinated strata rates are $140 each for 1–4 fireplaces, $120 each for 5–9, $100 each for 10–19 and $85 each for 20 or more. Rob confirms the service scope, availability and applicable tax before the appointment is agreed.
Book your fireplace service for a multifamily complex
A condo or townhouse service day starts with a practical question: which owners want to participate, and when can the technician access their fireplaces? A list of interested units is useful, but it is not yet a workable schedule. BeeWarm’s approach connects the participation list with confirmed access and a service window that Rob can review before approving the booking.
For a building-wide enquiry, contact Robert with the property location, an expected fireplace count and your proposed organizer. A manager or council member can help coordinate owners, while Rob confirms the service scope and availability. Service is not automatically booked just because a date is requested.
Can a strata get a deal on bulk fireplace servicing?
Yes. BeeWarm offers group rates for tightly coordinated fireplace service bookings at the same property. The rate depends on the number of confirmed fireplaces in the Rob-approved service block. A building’s total unit count or a list of interested owners does not automatically qualify it for a bulk discount.
The current group rates are CAD $140 per fireplace for 1–4 fireplaces; $120 each for 5–9; $100 each for 10–19; and $85 each for 20 or more. These are per-fireplace prices before tax, not a total price for the whole building. For example, an approved block of 20 confirmed fireplaces would have a service subtotal of $1,700 before tax.
These rates require tight bookings: the fireplaces must form a coordinated same-property service block with access arranged and a schedule Rob can approve. The final group count is based on confirmed participating fireplaces, rather than the building’s total unit count or a list of expressions of interest. Scattered visits on unrelated dates do not automatically qualify as one group.
If the confirmed count changes, the applicable group tier can change too. An estimate based on 20 interested owners is not a locked-in $85 rate if only 15 fireplaces are confirmed for the coordinated block. Ask Rob to confirm the rate and service scope before committing.
Individual owners do not need a group
Your building may not be organizing a shared service day. You can still ask BeeWarm about an individual fireplace visit. The app includes a separate individual request path, and the standard individual estimate is $140 per fireplace before tax. A group discount is not automatically applied to an individual request.
Contact Rob directly to discuss your fireplace, the service you need and a workable date. The actual appointment and any work outside the agreed service scope require his confirmation. The beta does not provide instant public appointments or collect online payments.
What the private beta currently does
The first release saves strata and individual booking requests, records a resident access roster and provides a scheduling queue. Rob can review a proposed service block, adjust planning time, approve the coordinated group arrangement and record the confirmed rate. The scheduling checks reject overlapping booked windows and blocks that do not allow the selected planning time.
The beta is currently restricted to Colin and Rob. Public customer registration and separate resident accounts are not enabled. Booking updates stay inside the workspace; automatic customer emails, text confirmations and online payment are not connected. Councils and owners should use Robert’s direct contact options rather than assume submitting a public form will reserve an appointment.
CHOA-friendly planning, with clear responsibilities
We are aiming for a CHOA-friendly experience in the everyday sense: understandable information for councils and owners, clear scope, coordinated access and a price that people can discuss before booking. That description is an intention, not a claim of CHOA affiliation, approval, certification or endorsement.
A council still needs to confirm who may authorize work and how owner participation will be organized. The app does not decide the building’s maintenance responsibilities, approve council spending or replace the property’s own arrangements. Keep door codes, payment details and other sensitive access information out of general booking notes.
Help us BEEcome the best fireplace service company for your strata community
We are in beta, and useful feedback can help shape the next version. Tell Rob what makes organizing your property difficult: collecting participation, explaining pricing, arranging access, reviewing the schedule or handling owners who need an individual appointment instead.
Our aim is to BEEcome the best fireplace service company for your strata community by making the process easier to understand and easier to coordinate. That is an ambition we want to earn through service and feedback, rather than an award or an independently verified ranking.
How to ask about service or beta participation
Call Robert at 604-765-8424 or email bee@beewarm.ca. Include the building location, whether you are organizing a group or requesting an individual visit, the expected fireplace count and your preferred service period. Confirm availability and the work included directly with him.
Strata Property Services is introducing this affiliated BeeWarm beta to its council and property-management audience. Fireplace enquiries on this page go directly to Robert at BeeWarm. The private staff app is linked below for authorized users only; it is not a public booking portal.
Fireplace service cost and strata booking questions
How much would fireplace servicing cost for 5, 10 or 20 participating fireplaces?
At the current qualifying group rates, 5 fireplaces total $600, 10 total $1,000 and 20 total $1,700 CAD before tax. These are service subtotals for approved coordinated blocks, not guaranteed quotes for every building. Rob must confirm the work and access plan.
What does a tight strata fireplace booking mean?
It means a same-property service block with participating units identified, resident access confirmed and enough time for Rob to carry out the agreed work. Unrelated visits spread across different dates do not automatically form one discounted group. Rob reviews the proposed service window before approving the rate.
Can individual condo or townhouse owners book fireplace service?
Yes. You can ask Rob about an individual fireplace visit even if your strata is not organizing a group. The standard individual estimate is $140 CAD per fireplace before tax. Individual requests do not automatically receive a building-wide discount.
Is fireplace service available in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland?
BeeWarm welcomes service enquiries from Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, including Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Richmond, New Westminster and Langley. Give Rob the property location, fireplace details and proposed dates so he can confirm availability for that address. No city listing guarantees an immediate appointment.
What is included in the fireplace service price?
Ask Rob to confirm the maintenance tasks, fireplace type and condition, access requirements, and any separately quoted diagnostic work, repairs or parts. The booking estimate alone is not a detailed service specification. Do not assume the advertised maintenance rate includes every possible fault or replacement component.
Will the price change if fewer owners confirm access?
It can. Group pricing uses the number of confirmed fireplaces in the approved service block. If 20 owners express interest but only 15 fireplaces are confirmed, the 10–19 tier is $100 each before tax rather than the 20+ rate of $85. Confirm the final count and price with Rob.
How do strata councils arrange a building-wide fireplace service day?
Choose an organizer, collect owner participation, identify the fireplaces and units, and discuss access and a preferred service period with Rob. He reviews the scope and a workable service block. Councils and property managers can contact Robert directly; public resident registration in the app is not enabled during this private beta.
